A little progress

Time has a way of escaping from me, so I'm not blogging as often as I'd hoped. So much for New Year's resolutions. I sure wish I could lose weight and gain time, LOL! I also have not been stitching as much as I would have liked. The OM team has a little less than a month to get all of their props done and polish their play so there has been many hours spent at my house. Ugh! On top of that I've been volunteered for a few things by my DH and they are taking up more time than I would like. Here's a picture of what I've been up to lately - picking away at the palm piece. I would really like to backstitch it as I go but I've found that I really need to put in the "wallpaper" around the window. So, you may not be able to see it because it really blends in with the background but here it is. I've been working a bit on Summer Nine patch as a small project to keep in my car. It is so small I haven't taken a picture and probably won't until I finish it.

It is snowing yet again. I sure hope it clears up by the weekend as my DSIL and I are planning a trip to the Rocking Horse in Detroit. They are having a framing sale and we are going to take the piece we made for a fiftieth wedding gift in. They do such a nice job on framing. We also are going to be able to take a look at what she brought back from Nashville - woo hoo!

Stay warm and enjoy your stitching ventures!

It's looking lovely. When you click on it you can see the headway you've made. Hang in there, it will be done and you'll have a great happy dance (and it will look so great on your wall).

Hey Kim

Would you be stitching Terry's Garden in the purple colors by any chance?? I have tried to get the purple kit and can't so I am going to settle on the blue kit and sub the blue silks for purple. If you happened to have the purple kit, would you be willing to share the colour numbers with me??? jacqueline dot scanlan at gmail dot come (no spaces)

:)

Kim, I think your palm tree is going to be fantastic and a great pick me up in the dreary weather!
