The weather is way cold here so I spent yesterday curled up on the couch with my stitching. I've been putting in the hours on Palms. I have been working it on those roller stretcher bars but have hated working on it for long periods of time because the frame hurts to hold it. I decided to play around with a few of my Q Snaps and Q Snap extenders and managed to make a frame to hold the Palm. Once I get beyond the tree and onto the bamboo looking stuff on the top and bottom I may have to consider other options. But at least for now my fabric is taut and my hand won't be hurting. My kitty will be much happier as well. You see he often sits next to my leg while I'm stitching. With the long stretcher bars, I usually ended up hitting him in the head when I went to bury a tail. I should post a picture of this soon.

Great finish and I love the pillow!!!!! Thanks for visiting and commenting! I'm adding you to my blogroll...hope you don't mind!!!
PS I still have 4 weeks left off to rest and stitch!!!!!
It turned out very cute. Hopefully it will be warm enough for it to match your pillow. I'm so tired of cold and winter already, I want it to be Spring.

Cute finish! Sometimes you just have to trust the designer.
Beleive it or not... I do a lot of my work in a 6x6 q-snap (if I'm not stitching in hand) and I just move it around. There's no rule that says your qsnap has to be the same size or bigger than your stitched area.
Cute finish! Congrats.
Hi Kim, thanks for the comments on Garden Alphabet. You asked where the design is from .
It was a freebie on the EMS board
http://www.maurer-stroh.com/
You have to join the board to be able to download them - and lots more. The letters came out first and then the border was published and some little critters to add amongst the flowers.
I will also be starting her 2008 Challenge freebie this weekend (if my threads arrive in time).
Hope all that helps
Spring Nine Patch is cute...did it warm you up thinking about Spring at all????

You do many pretty works!
I had fun looking through your blog!
