So, I pulled it out and got it finished off!
Although I haven't gotten much xstitching done, I have gotten inspired to finish off this quilt top that I started back in 2001. I'm a quilter wannabe and this is the first top that I've pieced. Now, I just need to figure out how to put the layers together and actually quilt the thing. The more I've read on machine quilting the more I realize that I don't know. I may end up just asking my neighbor for help. My next obstacle is finding fabric for the backing. I've been looking for some fabric to match the tea dyed muslin on front. So far, no such luck. I dread the thought of tea dying a piece large enough for the back.
Have a great day!

Hey there
Thanks for dropping by the other day and leaving a comment. Thanks for your lovely words.
Starting with someone you know, like your neighbour, is a good start if you're uncertain about the quilting - it's always best to ask someone who has experience in doing these things...it'll look fabulous when it's finished!
That ornie is so cute! And the quilt is lovely!
The ornament is too cute, and will look lovely on your Christmas Tree. You certainly have been busy finishing things off lately.
The quilt top looks great. Good luck on finding some backing fabric, hopefully your search won't take to long.
