The knotwork piece by Teresa Layman Designs is complete - even the finishing, LOL! It actually wasn't hard and went fairly quickly. I'm not sure if I like how it is sitting in the piece though. It seems that when I center this based on the acorn, the squirrel seems to lean forward, and when I center on the squirrel the acorn and leaves look out of place. What do you think? At this point I haven't been able to find a position that I'm happy with.My mom got Be Scary and I'm waiting on her to send me a picture of it so that I can post it. I cannot believe that I went and mailed it off without taking a picture. So much for having a clear mind after returning from retreat.
After listening to much nagging from DH when I complain about my weight, I've gone a signed up for a Zumba class. I've heard that this is a lot of fun. The class is filling up quickly so I hope that this is a good omen. I hate to give up an evening of stitching time, but dieting alone isn't working for me.
I picked up some fabric and ribbon to make the Chocolate Covered Cherries piece into a pin keep. I haven't been able to find any cute pins for around the edges. Can any of you ladies that regularly make pin keeps tell me where to find these? Once I get these, I'll be ready to go.
